I never wanted to go through this.

I knew the day would come eventually, but I never expected it would come so soon.  We weren't ready.  We still had so much to do.

I miss my Dad.  Tomorrow is my first birthday without him.

It's going to be a hard day for me, yet I know he'll be with me in spirit.

I love you, Dad.  Perhaps you'll make an appearance in some way.
